You can help us at Help Belize by just raising awareness. Belize is a very small country with a very small population with just about 307,000 people. Many people do not know that there is poverty in Belize. Some people dont even know where it is. Everyday many children and adults live in poverty with less than $5 dollars a day and they have no access to public assistance.That is why it is very important to tell someone you know about Belize and the poverty that exist there. We started the Belizeans United initiative In 2012 to raise awareness about children poverty in Belize in local communities throughout the United states. Help Belize has launched the Belize United initiative to help local Belizeans share their heritage and culture with local Las Vegas. We are happy to announce that we are ready and very excited to share our culture and vision with the rest of the world . Throughout the year we will be hosting and attending numerous culture and business based events, to make our presence known and to get connected with the Local communities throughout the U.S.A.

EDUCATION & LITERACY
Did you know that three out of every five children in Belize are not enrolled in school today, especially among the male population, and that only two out of every five children will actually finish high school?
Many children in Belize yearn for the opportunity to go to school but the financial burden is just too high.
It cost a family living in Belize $0.32 for every $1.00 earned to send a child to school.
MENTORSHIP & DEVELOPEMENT
One of the most effective way to prevent children poverty and juvenile delinquency has indisputably been to assist children and their families early on.
Because 75 % of the population of Belize are under the age of 35.
Belize is faced with a unique situation, meaning that the youth is not only the future in this small country but also the present, which is why we need to support development .
SPORTS & RECREATION
In the country of Belize no matter where you go you will see children participating in some type of recreational activity and because they lack the proper equipment they will use just about anything.
Belize children have to be creative and will use whatever they can find to play with, for example some children will use rocks and a stick to play baseball or you may find them playing soccer (futbol) with some old bundled up clothes held together with string and two rusty cans filled with dirt to mark their goal posts.
